SkyKick continues global expansion, working with NTT Communications to help accelerate SMB customers’ transition to Microsoft’s cloud with a superior migration experience and best-in-class data protection with cloud backup

Seattle – April 23, 2019 – SkyKick (www.skykick.com), a global provider of cloud management software for information technology (IT) solution partners, today announced a new agreement with NTT Communications to drive growth and adoption of Microsoft Office 365 in Japan.

As part of the agreement, NTT Communications is introducing new Office 365 data migration and data protection solutions powered by SkyKick’s Migration Suites for Office 365 and Cloud Backup for Office 365.

“SkyKick is excited to partner with NTT Communications to support their new service launch which will give NTT Communications a first-of-a-kind Office 365 cloud management offering in Japan,” said SkyKick Co-CEO Todd Schwartz. “This new service packages SkyKick’s award-winning Migration Suites and Cloud Backup services to give NTT Communication’s end-customers a fast, efficient and secure Office 365 migration experience as well as extra data protection after migration.”

Already one of Microsoft’s largest in-region Office 365 partners, NTT Communications will use SkyKick’s solutions both for direct sales and to assist its IT solution provider partners to expand adoption of Office 365.  NTT Communications, SkyKick and Microsoft held a joint press event to announce the news at NTT Communication’s Tokyo headquarters on April 18th, 2019.

“NTT Communications is pleased to work in partnership with SkyKick to deliver a packaged solution including Office 365, Cloud Backup, Migration Suite, and Support,” said Mr. Junichi Kudo, Senior Vice President, Applications and Content, NTT Communications Corporation. “This new solution package provides SMB and larger customers a secure cloud environment while using Office 365, which will increase customers’ confidence in moving to the cloud. NTT Communications has teamed up with SkyKick for the Japanese market to accelerate digital transformation in Japan.”

NTT Communications has aggressive growth goals based on increasing demand in the market for cloud productivity, and for backing up Office 365 cloud data for compliance, audit, data privacy and business continuity purposes. The company has chosen to partner with SkyKick because of SkyKick’s proven cloud automation track record and its market-leading Cloud Backup solution for Office 365.

“SkyKick has had immense growth internationally in the past 24 months, and we remain focused on meeting the unique needs of global IT solution providers,” said co-CEO Evan Richman. “This agreement with NTT Communications is the latest example of our commitment to accelerating cloud growth globally and delivering enhanced value for the Microsoft channel.  NTT Communication’s huge influence and importance in the region makes it an ideal partner, and we couldn’t be more excited about collaborating with them to help accelerate digital transformation in Japan.”

NTT Communications will offer the latest version of SkyKick’s #1 MSP-rated cloud migration platform. Recently SkyKick unveiled an upgrade to its platform called QuantumSync™ which brings increased security and 2-4x better migration performance.  SkyKick Cloud Backup will then protect and allow easy restore of that data across Exchange / Outlook email, SharePoint and OneDrive files, as well as Office 365 Groups and Microsoft Teams.
